I believe humans are designed to exist within intimate relationships. Because relationships can be a source of pain, they are also an important source of healing. I bring this belief with me as I help my clients navigate their relationships with others and with themselves to access their innate resilience and know their worth. I believe each human soul is good and holds the capacity and tendency for growth and healing. This belief is fundamental to the warmth and sincerity I foster in therapy.
I admire the courage it takes to pursue therapy. I am honored to sit with individuals, couples, and families who invite me to witness their journey of change. I believe in honesty, boundaries, respect, and a shared sense of humanity in the therapy room. I believe emotions inform and transform in the experience of identifying and healing from unhealthy patterns and processes. I use experiential models including attachment-based theories and EFT, as well as the Satir Model, Gottman principles, Family Systems Theory, and other evidence-based techniques.
I love laughing, learning, sunshine, picnics, running, biking, reading, and playing the cello. I am always looking for new trails, ice cream flavors, and book/podcast recommendations.
