“It is an act of bravery to feel your feelings.” -Gayle Forman

It is brave to sit in and feel your feelings. It is brave to acknowledge and work through your depression and anxiety. It is brave to find yourself again before, during, and after a faith transition. It is brave to explore your sexuality and live an authentic life. It is brave to ask for help in your dating, family, or friend relationships. It is brave to work on the relationships that matter most to you. It is brave to keep living after a death, diagnosis, or traumatic event. It is a true act of bravery to feel the magnitude of the ups and downs of everyday life.

I feel honored to be able to witness the bravery that each individual, couple, and family brings into therapy. I also believe that there is power in giving voice to our challenges. As a therapist, I feel it is important to focus on my client’s needs in order to help you build tools, skills, and confidence in your abilities to improve your life and relationships. Whether it is addressing marital conflict or working through depression, I am passionate about tackling life’s pains and difficulties with my clients.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy playing volleyball, eating ice-cream, reading, playing the guitar and piano, going to HIGH fitness, napping, and spending time with family and friends. True to my Idaho roots, I am also a lover of potatoes (in any form) and the great outdoors.
