Specializations: Trauma, Couples, Anxiety, Depression, Sex Addiction and Betrayal Trauma
Through therapeutic experience working with all age groups, from young children to the elderly, I understand the complexities and challenges that come at any stage and season of life. I care deeply about helping others identify the root of their emotional pain, gain fresh insight and perspective, and live aligned with their personal values to connect authentically with themselves and others. My clinical focus is on working with individuals and couples who suffer the effects of sexual addiction and betrayal trauma and desire to restore wholeness, connection, and meaning to their lives.
My approach integrates Emotion-Focused and Attachment principles with experiential, somatic, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients develop awareness of their relationship patterns, emotions, thoughts, and body responses. With a background in dietetics, I also place a special holistic emphasis on physical health behaviors (e.g., diet, exercise, sleep, and mindfulness) that can affect the healing process. I am committed to leaning into the hard and humbling realities of life with each client, continually studying and learning about sexual and relational trauma, and harnessing the power of experience, education, humor and empathy to help others heal.
Born and raised in Texas, I am happiest when reading a good book, doing anything active or creative, and laughing with loved ones who know me best.
