As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my focus is to help couples and families navigate challenges in their relationships.
The goals of therapy may include improving communication skills, deepening emotional bonds, and finding constructive ways to address conflicts. My focus is to create a more fulfilling and harmonious relationship, fostering understanding and empathy between partners.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) (ICEEFT) is a specialty in a specific therapeutic approach that focuses on intimate relationships, particularly couples and families. Emotionally Focused Therapy is designed to help individuals and couples understand and restructure their emotional responses within relationships.
As an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained therapist I specialize in providing a specific form of psychotherapy that focuses on processing distressing memories and experiences. EMDR is particularly effective in treating trauma-related conditions, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but it can also be applied to various other mental health issues.
If you are on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and a desire for stronger connections, I want to help you start the work.
