I am passionate about working with individuals and couples in any stage of their life or relationship. I believe that emotions motivate behavior, and that understanding our own emotions is essential to growth and change. I want to help you learn how to break out of negative cycles, and discover a new way to connect with yourself and others. I’ve spent most of my time living in Utah, so I understand the unique cultural factors which influence relationships and families in the area. I also love meeting and working with people who don’t fit into the same mold.

I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Utah State University. During my time at USU, I was trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy (Level 1 & 2), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Discernment Counseling. I draw from these techniques and clinical experiences helping my clients in order to adapt to each individual’s changing needs throughout the therapy process. This blend of approaches is especially well suited for couples in conflict who need help navigating the uncertainty.

When I’m not working, I enjoy cycling, trying new restaurants, and spending time in big cities with my wife and son. I work hard to maintain professional boundaries, but also value getting to know my clients on a personal level.
