I believe therapy is about creating a safe environment for healing to occur. My job as a therapist is to be the gentle guide, letting you, the individual experiencing the hurt and pain, dictate the pace. We all inherently have the ability to heal from our wounds, sometimes we just need to feel safe enough to be vulnerable. I utilize integrative and experiential approaches in my work to foster such an environment. These include, IFS, ego-state, EMDR, sandtray, art-based activities, mindfulness, and emotional regulation techniques.

I hold an associate license as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. emphasizing trauma treatment through a physiological lens. I graduated with my masters in MFT from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Personally, I love interacting with nature. Whether it is creating underwater ecosystems in my aquarium, caring for my reptiles, or capturing the beauty of landscapes through art, I have found my connection with earth to be a healing experience. When I am not doing that  I love playing board games and video games with friends and family.
