I am an honest, empathetic and direct therapist. Trauma treatment is my specialty and I help my clients by creating a safe place to express/explore their pain and the unique healing path for themselves. I believe the ability to hold space for the pain is key to a healthy change, and I assist my clients in being able to do so through EMDR, IFS, CBT, mindfulness and other methods to educate and guide them. Through these modalities, I help my clients to understand and connect with themselves.
I have a deep love of learning, and I strive to better myself as a therapist through training and studying. I love working with couples and families, and am especially passionate about working with first responders and military personnel. My goal as a therapist is to assist my clients in discovering the best way for themselves to feel free from their pain.
I enjoy baking (mostly the eating part of it), and both playing and listening to music. My life as a therapist has helped me to live more mindfully, and it has led me to enjoy little things in my life.
